I hate spam, but I have no problem whatsoever with MIA information going out about stolen boats to the one group of people who would recognize them.

Makes total sense. I hope that it works.

I agree with OSO that we need to send the message that 30,000 pairs of eyes will open every time a crook tries to rip off an offshore boat.

I never knew that option was there. Sure enough, it was disabled.
It's on now! Mail away OSO.

..........wondered why I didn't even get a courtesy message my membership was up.

Was the boat pre-sold to someone?

With all the traffic cams on major roads, can't they review those?

Good luck with the search, hope they are able to recover the boat complete & find the responsible parties. I know how it feels to have your boat stolen.

I remember reading about local NC police dept raising money (they did finally) to pay a US Governent agency for satellite routine pictures taken over a certain small town area of NC (on a specifice day and time) where a police chief was found shot dead one early Sunday morning. No witnesses, and no leads. They told in the story how US "Birds" (routine and not so routine) make these pass overs every single day snapping pictures. You can even see the model of cars and sometimes tag numbers depending on equipment used.
All you have to do is pay for them. Not sure if general public can buy, but probaly if not national security related.
It wasnt really that much $ either. Around $7,000 I recall. Cost of insurance preminums going up would cover it.
Spotting a boat like this going down an interstate in Southern US wouldnt be hard to do from altitude. Say from first 48 hours after theft. At least you would see where its heading.
A thought.
Regards,
Harpoon

I posted this on the Home page but I will copy it here:

If anyone has more pics, I will forward them to my repo agencies in that area. My guys know how to make things come out of the wood work. Plus the "Scum of the earth" as some have called us, have our ears open to shady conversations. Send pics to [email protected]

Hope to help,
MD

Lightbulb This Boat will be recovered....

OK guys lets do it now....Boat possibly spotted at Countryside Suites in Omaha, NB. on I-80 early morning hours (around midnight Saturday).... I notified FBI in the Omaha area to check it out.......Possibly white Dually, heading West....6 to 8 hours driving, since spotted, pulling a wide load that looks like a Xmas tree...Local authorities also notified....so, keep your eyes and ears open and if any leads come in, notify the FBI within that town....They will help, and they will find this boat.....Don't wait...just do it...

possibly
