Tales from the trim tab lab...brush finished Victory/ Bennett upgrade
I'm a proud father, LOL, just emerging from the trim tab lab for a break...
This is the latest, a brush finished stainless steel dual ram Victory upgrade for the Bennett trim tab system. This thing is sweet! Too new for pricing. Eye candy that will make anyones jaw drop. Pictures just cannot do them justice. Now you can have the performance of a K-plane style system while utilizing your existing Bennett trim tab system. Other brands soon to follow! (Insta-trim by Boat Leveler, Lenco, Trim Master and of course the infamous K-plane replacement that forum member Cignificant will soon be installing!)

Eyezlee, an excellent question.
I've done a few seasons and hundreds of hours of on-water testing with my design. At no time could I break a Bennett ram. They have proven themselves time and time again through the experiences of others as well. Think of my Victory upgrades as a 'mildly modified big block', reliable performance.

That's not polished stainless. That's brushed stainless. You CAN, however, buy stainless in prepolished sheets in one of about a hundred different grades of brush finish to mirror polish.
You may want to look into it for a full polished version.

Correct you are mcollinstn!
Technically it is not a 'mirror' polished finish but a 'line' finish (#4, very similar to my trim pump brackets) or as you've mentioned, a brushed finish. This finish is seen most often on stainless steel appliances.
I do this in house and feel that a mirror finish is not only hard to handle without scratching but prohibitively expensive to manufacture. The line finish also provides great adhesion for a clear powdercoat making the trim tab maintenance free in salt water applications. I'm not saying I wouldn't do it but not as an everyday offering. Anything 'custom' can be done for the right $$$$.
I will change my description to avoid any confusion to my customers, thanks for now.
