now there is some lights , I put them on a switch
but with a relay you could put them on your backup light
circuit, Dont wire direct to the backup light, Too much current

put a couple 50 watt halogens and it lights up the whole ramp I would'nt go much higher because the housing is plastic and might melt with 100s

Default Lights

I do the same on my trucks, I was wondering why GM didnt do that as a factory option.

Looks great.

I wire mine though a relay on a switch and a seperate relay through the back up light trailer harness to turn on by reverse lights and by a seperate switch.

thats the way I have it the relay can be tripped by the existing backups or by manual switching it on
wired relay through hot acessory juice so it cannot
be accidently left on and drain battery

If you have any question as to how to wire have a friend
that fully understands auto electric help you

TOPDJ
I have a set of fog lights on my bench waiting for a nice weekend to do the same set-up. Which lights did you use? Where did you get the power from?
