Default Why so little action at the Auctions?

It seems there are hardly any bidders on the OSO Auctions. Why is that?
There is a 32' boat on there now that the reserve has been met at $32.00 !!! It's a cool boat.
I've seen several things expire with no bids.

Are there simply not enough people on OSO to make auctions work? Or will it just take more time?

I just put a set of Gil exhaust on there...... I'll see how it goes.

One thing that may help is a link to the Auctions from the main forum page. I haven't looked on the opening page, but I rarely go there.

I thought they are just in "play" mode to see how the software works, not really anything up for grabs.

I just reread their anouncment. It says it's free, not that it isn't real.

How about it OSO. Is it for real?

Maybe the boards other auction expert could share his feelings. There is no reason why this wouldn't work. The only limitation that I can see is the lack of activity. That's one of the things that makes ebay work.

I had the same problem........it's all about people taking it for what it is.....an auction! It's not a big deal. You may get rid of something just lying around!!!! Just do it! It's fun....and you make some money from some **** lying around!!!

I sold an item on there in less than 48 hours. We will put a link several places on the site when it is launched officially. we have one more glitch to fix. for now, place items on and if they sell, great.

We did fix a major problem with registration a couple of days ago as some people were getting confused. We will continue it in a test type of mode for free for a little longer than expected.
