Hmmmm, there's been something like 4,823 Apache threads on this board discussing everything down to Bobby Saccenti's underwear size, yet no one has ever mentioned what surely must be one of the most unusual Apache's ever built, a 41 with Lambo (or was it Torque? I get so confuzzled....) V-12s and #6 drives. Amazingly enough, even though this boat is apparently in SoCal, the original OSO stomping grounds, no one has ever seen it, heard of it, or even has any pictures of it.
LPA, maybe you should work for the CIA - seeing as how you managed to nab the goods on the fabled stealth Apache, nailing Osama Bin Laden should be child's play...
BTW, how did the bubbles come of the conventional V bottom?

I have seen "Honcho" in Oceanside, which is about 40 miles North of San Diego. I have also seen another Apache, I believe it was a 41', at Dick Simon Marine in Dana Point which is about 80 miles or so North of San Diego. It was an all white boat with an indian head on the side (Blue in color I think), but the boat was pretty run down and I think it was sold out of the state several months ago.
A Catalina run from San Diego is about 200 miles round trip. Kind of a long ride to test a boat. My.02

I have to say that you just aren't propped right when you're down 35 mph. NK
