I think that boat came from Mi it looks like the one I sean last fall.

Lee 04-04-2004 03:51 PM

It used to be all black with orange, yellow and green graphics w/ 4 OMC 300hp GT V-8's, was originally from NJ/NY then in MI for a couple of years.

Lee 04-04-2004 03:53 PM

357, That's the one that was at Velger's.

HiPerf2000 04-04-2004 03:55 PM

it looked a bit rough. the area above the rub rail is extremely wavy!! Thought they would have tried to correct that before repaiting??

dockrocker 04-04-2004 04:00 PM

Man, 4 outboards? I'd need to grow an extra set of hands!

this coming from the guy who is buildin two 1000 hp motors that burn 500 gallons a hour LOL! ;)

How far are you along with the motors fred?

I am not sure I understand the 4 outboard setup. Would twin or triple big blocks be faster and more efficient? It seems that the OB's would be working themselves to death.

CAP071 04-04-2004 09:50 PM

Yea I can see You, Mark waiting in line behind him at the pump :D

Isn't that the boat that was on ebay a month or two ago?

If so, I think it kept being relisted because it never got over $13K (reserve not met)... looks like someone coughed up a little more.

Shane 04-05-2004 07:23 AM

Is it aluminum?

No it's glass. i actually "thumped" the hull sides while walking bye it. Sounded pretty hollow.

I'll bet there is a lot of seating in that thing since there's no motors inside !!

My brother just told me about a guy thats got 6 outboards on a 35-38' fishing ,center console !! He says it runs 100+ but can't carry enough fuel to get to the canyon and back .....:p I'll try to get pictures of that ! I realy want to know how he works 6 throttles and shifters .

Wouldn't you think that 6 outboards would be wider then the boat ?

MadMat 04-06-2004 10:04 AM

This thing has 5 outboards. I think there comes a point when you should just accept inboards are the way to go.

I was skeptical also, until I read in the news last week that customs had impounded an 8 o/b RIB, with a payload capacity of about 8 tons, for suspected drug activities. Not the same boat as this one, but if there's one there's probably others too. Unless customs were sniffing around the boat too much, I'm sure they could count the no. engines OK.

4-8 outboards....well let's see....you can "loose" 6 engines and if you have a "right" and a "left" get back home in style with 8 egg-beaters...has a cluttered look though...

...would be fun to "tube" behind the one with 8 outboards! ..something like this but about 10 times the wake

Pantera1 04-08-2004 04:24 PM

Didnt know more outboards meant more wake ..
