Now come run Lake Michigan....

Apparently the new OL's are now capable of running 130mph in 8 footers That freak'n epoxy must be mixed with magic dust ! All I know is if these guys show at SOTW and it's kick'n, I'll probably just leave mine on the trailer so I don't get in their way

BTW I've personally never had any fun (at speed) in water over a legitimate 5'- 6' cause everytime I get it on top here comes a BIG ONE ( or hole) to remind me who's boss

I guess it all depends how hard you want to run/pound your boat. Can't wait for the animal pics....

Default Waves

Ahem.

I'm not trying to stir up trouble, BUT . .

I think more like 3-4's. But steep and close together. And some holes for good measure.

MAYBE a 5 footer in the mouth of the inlets in Venice and New Pass.

Well, I guess it's in the eye of the beholder.

I loved the old race days, when the reports would always say the waves were a couple of feet more than they actually were. And the lap speeds were always 5-10 mph faster than the boats actually went, because the courses were set shorter than was listed.

No doubt it was ROUGH!
