Hi Cuda, How you been, I saw on the donzi board that you may be moving to central FL. GL with that! Thanks for the pics, and you can't blame the guy for not wanting to put damn stickers on that beautiful piece of work.

I've been out of town mostly the last couple of weeks and haven't been able to check on the Minx progress. I have an appointment with my accountant this morning, then headed over to check on the boat progress.

Very good, keep us posted. The minx and cig 20 are my favorite 20 footers. Best of luck with it!

I have something to add to this thread. In 1978, I lived in coconut Grove, Miami, and I visited the Donzi factory on Thunderboat Row. There was a Criterian in the yard, and it was their newest model. When I asked when it would be available for sale, I was informed that they were sold out for the year. The last three that they had sold, were being built for the Bee Gees, which had recently catapulted to fame after their smash hit with Saturday Night Fever. it was just as well, as I was a 19 year old that didn't have the means to buy my first Donzi until many years later.

How in the world did you start in CG and end up in O-hi-o?

Cool story man, was it the all black one? That one is currently in my warehouse next to my Criterion SS, waiting on its owner to come to town and launch it to head out to sea again. Running great, still very original and still a cool boat!

There are a couple for sale at the moment, the one Cuda pictured (LOL, in front of my house, NOT my boat though) is available to the right person...

BTW, Kurt the one you asked about (how did I miss that) is in the Detroit area now I think..
