When I was thirteen I was a Merc ad. It showed some boat going over a pissy little ski jump at lake X and they were bragging about their rigorous destruction testing.

I remember thinking, Hell, I could jump my Whaler OVER that destruction tester. Those guys are ***s...

...my brother liked to do that stunt stuff too till he put a well built boat on it's side....put his back out...sold the boat and if you mention the word "boat" he looks at you dirty....he still to this day blames the boat...he was going 67mph and his friend threw it in reverse....full turn lock and full forward ahead....lucky to be alive...

...now many of "your" "pre-Aronow" boats just for some unknown reason were less prone to spinning out...but then on the 8th day he created "aronow" and we have to live with the possibility of a spin out...goes with the territory...

...a boat named for an extinct species of birds in New Zeland...much less prone to spinouts... a shot from the other side...looks similiar...no steps!

...does my friend look worried about spin outs?

I am the one that started this thread...I wasn't thinking...if we want these boats to evolve certainly more skill is involved in handling and speed on water is almost like high speed on ice...things like inertia have a way of getting into the "way"...
