I guess yoy are buying the hardware?
A #6 900 HP Package can add a little huh?
a saw some 94 guns with TRS drives and tierd power sell for about $90k.
Downtown,
figure she's pretty mint with real fresh power. Boat comes with a Myco. Boat needs nothing, (maybe a little interior work, a little..)
did I mention the #6's are Dry sumps?
Gotta be worth $125K no?

Fred,

If it is sound, 125k is a good price. As stated, I am guessing but like to watch the market like everyone else. Maybe some Cig guys keep closer tabs. Describe the boat and someone will know it. But then again, you may lose it!! Someone on the board just bought a red Gun,older model, COPS guy I think, big HP. Sounds similiar spec. Best luck.

What is most important? The year, hours, condition, and how much you have to spend once you buy it, etc. If you want a light older boat you need to go Kevlar or Carbon. Our Carbon Fiber boat feels very very light compared to fiberglass hulls. If you want to go faster, the lighter the better. Kevlar is stronger than fiberglass and Carbon Fiber is stronger than Kevlar.

I've been watching the market on guns very closely over the last few months to a year now since I'm looking to buy a mid 90's gun when my boat sells.
From what I've seen the problem with selling large power is buyers are scared. Like someone said. Large power=large mecanic bills. Buyers see large power=not as reliable. Large power is tempermental and needs to be serviced regularly. who knows how the owner prior treated the motors?
For a SUPER CLEAN mid 90's gun ('96) with xr's and super charged 500's, you're looking at 115-130. That's not big power or 6's though. I thnk you just loose the money when you put big power and 6's on.
Look at Ruckus (BCC's and Chengs old boat) '94 w/900's and custom set up 6's asking 150 (sold for much less). A '94 with stock power is going for right around 100 depending on how clean it is.
6's are what, 30k each and the motors are going to be around 35k each right? You'll never get your money back when it only ups the value of the boat a few thousand dollars.
