I have had my ZR in some rough (real 4-5 foot w/ 30 knot wind) and it's a very stable, safe and predictable hull .
BTW- The canopies took only about an hour of boating to get used to , now i would have a hard time owning a boat w/o canopies- try em' you will agree !
The craftsmenship and ergonomics on the ZR is impecable , but of course i must agree the Gladiator is a great boat as well.
