dang stereo fell out AGAIN
Every time I go out on the big water my stereo disappears, meaning it falls inside and lands in the storage compartment. I've jacked around with that crummy plumbers strap stuff that supposedly holds the back up but this time it BROKE.
Any tips on securing it so I don't have to mess with it again?
Please...help...

you might have to build alittle shelf on the inside if you have the room. maybe get some small brackets from home dopot or somthing. you are right those plumbers strap things dont do the job at all. the key to making it stay in is over-engineering

Home depot has aluminum angle iron (near the garage door hardware) that works great for beefing up a stereo install.
Make sure you through-bolt everything, and you'll probably never mess with it again.
