...but, I will add this....if I was just using the boat to go out and run for the day with no thoughts of overnighting or weekending on it, then of course there would be no need for a lot of that stuff. It is all about how you use it.

This thread is about "OFFSHORE" not "ONLAKE" boats. You don't count. :D :D :D :D

This is my observation from the boat shows.
The first place alost every prospective buyer goes when looking at our V bottoms is the cabin. They don't look in the engine room, study the helm for layout or ergonomics or look at much of what you use the most. It's like it doesn't matter, only the glitz below. Fridge, Microwave, Flat Screen TV, DVD, Gen, Air, Full size head, Ultra Leather sofa, Ostrich skin.....
When we see the boats a year after the delivery we often find the packaging still in the microwave, the TV remote still in the bag, etc.
We would rather leave all of the "Stuff" out but whenever we build one stripped down it's seems they are harder to resell.

So True

Terry, you just made me laugh. I was recently on one of your GOOD customers boats ( a loaded 50') and I was teasing him about all the amenities, when I asked him how often he used any of them the answer was of course " never". All I could think about was how much work was involved (designing mounts, wiring, breakers, plumbing, venting, access ect...) to install all that stuff !

BTW If you have to have it all, a 20,000 pound, four engine 50 footer probably has the best chance of not spitting the microwave door across the cabin ;) :D
