Biggus Needs Help with Truck Mechanic

Biggus is out at Konrad. He made it all the way there but blew his tranny getting the boat into the shop. He needs some help finding some place to fix the truck. If anyone knows of a good repair place out near were Konrad is (same place Troutly lives) please let us know.

Didn't he have some wheel bearing probs. last year down south:rolleyes: ?

impulsive 04-12-2004 11:39 PM

that really sux. Was he planning on staying while the boat was being worked or coming back east?

Audiofn 04-13-2004 01:06 AM

He is staying out there while it gets worked on and documenting the entire process. Hopefully he will be able to get the truck fixed for reasonable money quick for the trip home.

I bet he comes home with a PSD. He has been talking about it for a while.

A buddy owns a tranny shop within a few miles of Hudson Wisconsin. It is just off the first 94 exit on the Minnesota side of the river.

The shop is Al's Automatic Transmission and trannys are their specialty. The number is 651.436.7620, have him ask for Jay.

Thanks Kohldog, I spoke to Jay this morning and he is going to take the truck in tomorrow morn.

Sure is beautiful out here! We ran the boat in the St Croix yesterday to get out baseline numbers. We are installing the drives today and we will be testing more tomorrow.

Kurt.....a long way from home  :D

good luck man !;)

Kohldog 04-13-2004 12:08 PM

Biggus,

I wish I could see that thing run out on the Croix. I'm just up the river a few miles in my Stillwater office today but tomorow I'll be across town about 45 miles away.

Glad to here Jay can help you out. He'll do a good job for ya. His shop is just off the river and you could probably hear your pipes from there!

Both!!:D :D

I talked to Biggus last night, he said his boat ran well in the "before" tests. The new mills are performing well!!:D :D

I know that he is anxious to see the "after" numbers!!!!:D :D

Biggus 04-14-2004 07:40 AM

Hey guys,

Other than the tranny problem, all is going well out here.
We are in the process of installing all the new equipment and we hope to be running sometime tomorrow.

The folks at Konrad have treated me like a king! :D They have taken me out to dinner every night this week!

Ken Konrad is quite a guy, I'm just blown away at how well this company is run. All the employees are extremely qualified and everyone is happy. That's a sure sign of a good leader.

Please keep us updated Kurt. I spoke to Ken last week about his drives and I am waiting to see how your tests turn out so I can make a decision on my drives. (since my boat is not so different from yours)

Please post some numbers as soon as possible.

Thanks and I hope you get your truck up and running with minimal expense out of pocket.

Duane
