__________________________________________________

Guys, It’s that time of the year again!

Bill Pyburn and the crew have been working hard to bring you the 3rd annual

“Jacksonville Firefighters Charity Poker Run”.

http://www.jffpr.com/

The first year was “GREAT”, the second year was “AWESOME”, and the third year is guaranteed to be even better.

First Year Attendance = 65 Boats
Second Year Attendance = 115 Boats
Third Year Estimates = 135 + Boats

Mark these dates on your calendar and get your entry form in and hotel reservations made. You DO NOT want to miss this event. There are already over 40 boats signed up and this event will fill up fast.

Velocity says they will have 30+ boats there this year. Nor-Tech is bringing boats including a Turbine Powered Monster. Fountain had many boats there last year and we had the honor of both Steve Step and Reggie Fountain driving in the event. I know of over 20 boats coming from the Carolina’s.

Boats ranged in size a from 20 Foot Baja Outlaws to 50 Foot Nor-Techs and 46 Foot Skaters last year and they promise a lot more eye candy this year. The nice thing is it does not matter what size boat you bring to have a really good time at this event. The 20 Foot Baja won best hand and 1st place last year!

The dates have changes from September to June at your request for better weather, warmer weather and the kids will be out of school. Bring the whole family!

You can do just the poker run, or you can do as many as three events.

Price is only $300.00 which includes Poker Run and Fun Runs, Free Boat Slip (Limited Enter Fast), Free Shuttle Service from Hotel to Marina, Free Parking for Truck & Trailer with 24 hour security, Your Choice Free DVD or Video of Event, Free Beer & Wings Friday Night, Many Free Gifts for Captain & Crew, Dinner Saturday Night at Banquet With Live Entertainment.

Rooms have been block at the Adam’s Mark Hotel starting at only $79.00 per night.

Dave,

Yeah, you better show up!

We are going to be there early, making a long boating vacation out of it.

Heading to Lake Hartwell for the Meals On Wheels Run Memorial Weekend, leaving there Tuesday morning and heading straight to Jacksonville. Plan to be in the water Wednesday morning and head to St. Augustine for the night and then back to Jacksonville Thursday for all the fun!

Look forward to see you.

This event keeps getting bigger and better!

Thanks for the advanced notice, Dock.
I've heard great things about the Jax run. I haven't made it yet, should look into it this year.

You will see the Adams Mark Hotel in the background over my boat in the above picture.

The "Landing" water front area with bars and resturants is just on the other side of the hotel.

Total distance from the marina to the landing is not more than a mile and a half. Parking is good and they provide a free shuttle.

The launch ramp is just on the other side of the river at Arlington Marina. Good ramps "FREE", and they also have a travel lift available and slips with shore power hook up.

A shot of the "Carolina Girls"!

Thanks Mark,

They give me $100.00 for every TIME someone asks that question!

No really, I have made a lot of good friends in Jacksonville. They work VERY hard to put on a great poker run.

It is a very good time, and a great value for the dollar.

Look forward to passing you again this year! LOL

Thanks Marc and Dave. Believe me, I would love to.
I enjoy Jacksonville every time I go there. It's a great place and the run sounds like a winner.
