i thought it was a pretty sweet deal. it even came from a dealer (did i say my friend is the gm :D )

I had a guy tell me it wasnt that great of a deal, then a month later he bought a 2000 (1 year older) with cloth (xlt:confused: ) for 30k with more miles. :rolleyes:

A few years back, but '02 duallie PSD, 4-door, I can't remember the package, but it doesn't have the weather center in the rear-view mirror (wtfc??), 4:10, camper package, and took a BEAT '90 Suburban in trade - $34K trade included.

'03 F250 XLT PSD 7.3 Paid $32K. Had 15k miles on it. Bought it two weeks ago. Dealer wouldn't budge much. I love it.

I have been looking all winter over a 300 mile spread and found one close by at a Chevy dealer. Just took in on trade that day.

2000 Ford psd 4x4 white crew cab xlt 64k in perfect condition. Not a single scratch or dent; garage kept and used to pull a fishing boat. Divorce sale. $24,200 and no sales taxes added. Came with 3/36k mile warrantee.

Pay close attention to build date and make sure it is an 04'.

The 6.0's had a LOT of issues with stumbling, injectors, etc.

Push on the dealer and watch for the rebates. Go to www.nada.com

Used 03 White Lariat 7.3 diesel FX4 4x4 27K miles $32,800 asking price came with tong cover, sprayed in liner and brand new tires. Traded in a f150 single cab with 23K miles on it. Final price was $31,000 out the door.

Anyone know if the extended warranty thru Ford is worth getting? Thinking of extending mine once I hit 36K miles.
