I wish I would have seen that article, but I think our subscription had lapsed. They probably trashed the on line boards because they are cutting into their ad $$ & readership.

I had to laugh, we just received the latest issue, and it had an article about OL vs Fountain's quest to get the speed record and then another article on the APBA, and OSS situation. When reading it I thought to myself "Old News" I had already read and followed these topics on OSO for months! Not only do we get the info here almost as it happens, it is usually more informative and some of the people living the stories are doing some of the posting. Looking through the magazine I sort of wondered why we even renewed the subscription :eek:

Used to be read complete the day I received Powerboat. I am on pg 9 after a week.

Yep, that was me. :( I'm kinda ashamed when I read that letter. I think I got my point across though.

I didn't recognize the last name but the city and state matched so I but 2 and 2 together and came up with CORD. I just got mine yesterday so it is the most recent issue with the article about the "garbage" on OL and Fountian. Thats what the guy interviewed said, I can't remember his name, it is under the section where they interview a boating person. I saw Travis also but it is the wrong state. I don't see anything wrong with OL and Reggie going at it, it is good friendly competition. You see Donzi advertising "biggest, fastest" and they are not trying to prove it.
