Bimini Top
 

Is there a set distance to place a bimini top from the edge of the windshield / windscreen to assure that the wind comes in under the top to lift it up and not go over it to smash it down when you are running. I'm getting ready to install one on a 29' Scarab and I've had bad luck in the past with the wind going over it and not under it. Any info would be very helpful.

My guess is you'd want it to have a level attitude while on plane so the wind splits it evenly.
