Finally! I've joined the CC Revolution
1 Attachment(s)
After what seems like the longest purchase process in human history (Ok, so I'm just a tad impatient) I successfully dodged the rain showers in Ft Lauderdale (got inside the airport terminal just before the rain closed the airport for 2+ hours) and completed the purchase of my "new" (used) boat.
I'm very pleased with the condition (the glass repair for the trailer rash looked much worse in pictures than in person) and can't wait to get it home. It will be staying in FL for a few weeks for the 'glass work (the local shops are all buried under spring commissioning work) and to reconfigure the console a bit. I'll update the interior arrangement and upholstery when I get it home. Looks like I have successfully joined the CC Revolution. -Greg |

Ausome! I could be real happy in a CC.....maybe when I can afford a condo on the water to go with it!!

Nice boat Greg!!! Congrats:)
|
WOW! That is an awesome saltwater boat!
|
Mike - Guess I should have said, yes it is the 32 Scorpion I've been working on for the last month or so.
Shane - Speed is high 50's maybe low 60's depending on water conditions and how much fuel is on board. It has two rear side tanks plus a bow tank that can be filled for more capacity or to change the balance. -Greg |
I NEED one!!!

Dyno....just put a console in the middle of your Sonic!!!..and your all set:p :p :p

If you need anything from Dollar, let me know, I am right down the street. Rick |
Thanks Rick. The boat is at their Ft Lauderdale shop now, they will move it to the new shop along with all their other stuff. Mindy and Mac are both very nice to work with. The boat will be there a few weeks (giving me a little time to clear off my lift) but should be coming home around the beginning to middle of May.
Thanks again for your help. -Greg |
Welcome!:D
A great versatile boat. Cordell |
In the South Florida Boat Trader there is a 1997 Apache 33' center console. Sleek low slung looking fast fish boat. My question; Was this boat built by The Chief or is it from an old mold and built by someone else? I would like more info if this is a boat that Bobby built.
Respond here or [email protected] |
Chuck,
Pm me with your e-mail. I looked at both the Apache's in S. FL. -Greg |
Hey Greg PM me your number when you get time.

|
I'm back home. Made a very long one day trip yesterday in amongst the rain "drops". Tell him to give me a call as I do seem to need a "bunk dock" at the moment :D .
-Greg |
Greg;
I think that it would be a good idea to leave it down there. That way we....uh...I mean YOU would have a boat down there to use in the winter.:D |

Why don't you guys just get one of your own :eureka:. I'd almost consider leaving it down there till we go to the Keys, but I can't wait until July to go boating.
And yes mopower, the insurance is less than on my Formula. -Greg |
Congrats GregP!
I hope to have that warm fuzzy new boat (two keys jingling in pocket) feeling soon too! |

Hey Sonic 30/31 guys thinking about getting a Fishboat, check out my hyperfishing conversion products...looks very cool, cruised and fished this setup for four years. Best of all, you can completely change the character of the boat in 15 minutes!
|
CC...............I thought you meant Cabin Cruiser!!! :D :D :D :D
