This station also sells leaded racing fuel. 110 octane. See a few older cars with modified motors in them (camaros mostly), a few offroad vehicles and the like, but no boats at this pump. $2.999 a gallon.

Dave M 04-14-2004 06:01 PM

SABER28 04-14-2004 07:32 PM

Will, Have you seen this boat in your area? On a lake in the hills somewhere?

The Don 04-14-2004 09:19 PM

You think that's bad in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands it's $2.25 for premium...and that's with an Oil Refinery on our sister island of St. Croix ($1.69 for premium). HOVENSA refines the oil and for some reason ships it to Puerto Rico, (40+ miles in the wrong direction) it get's a brand name (ie. Texaco, Esso, etc.) ships back the other way to St. Thomas (40+ miles) and jumps up $0.60 for labelling. That SUCKS BIG TIME!!!

blownboat 04-15-2004 12:13 AM

Its all BULL, they say gas might hit 3.00 a gallon for regular. Our governor says well the american people are putting up with it! What are we suppose to do, not get gas! Something in this country is going to happen! Steel prices doubled, wood is high, everybody is jacking there prices out of sight. Something is going to happen!!!!

dyno 04-15-2004 05:34 AM

Time to build a refinery....

Cord 04-15-2004 08:11 AM

Mike-those are pretty much the same prices we've been seeing here. If you've gone up, I presume we are going to follow suit. The good news is the diesel is cheaper! :D

jafo 04-15-2004 08:42 AM

Lots of talk on the radio business shows now about booming economy leading into inflation. The gas prices are just the start.
KY and grab the ankles, folks..................... Gas is like oxygen and water- it is (or has become) a necessity of life that people will pay anything to get.

ChrisK 04-15-2004 09:12 AM

On the island where I am building a house(thats almost done and ready to be sold.... anyone need a vacation property on a carribean island??) They have a refinery ON the island, only sell 2 grades of fuel 89 and 92 and it starts at about 2.50 a litre!

jaroot 04-15-2004 10:23 AM

From jJackson to Battle Creek.. same deal 1.87 - 1.89 / gallon for 87... seems to always be this trend... cheap sunday - wed night.. then a 15 cent jump thur, fri and starts dropping saturday.. hmmmm

supply and demand my ass... have you seen the price per share earnings of the likes of exxon-mobile and the like lately?

JR

26scarab 04-15-2004 11:21 AM

I paid $1.79 for diesel yesterday.

I'm surprised the truckers have not started complaning about the high price of diesel. If they decided to go on strike that sure would stop a lot of businesses.

cuda 04-15-2004 11:46 AM

Regular $1.82

Diesel $1.67

mirageman 04-15-2004 11:59 AM

87 regular $1.97
89 premium $2.05
91 Super $2.15

My hick town near Seattle

Formula311-SR1 04-15-2004 01:07 PM

Seen 87 regular for 1.99 yesterday in the Chicago suburbs. 2.19 for premium before summer
