Mitch, you're not alone....I have a theory....

Blood can only travel to one head at a time. If the lower head gets the blood (creating a bulk head) all blood and cognitive reasoning leaves the upper head.

And, can't wait to see pics of the boat. :D

It`s really much simpler that that.....

Shane 04-16-2004 10:39 AM

I know what it iiiissss, I know what it iiissss!:p Oh, and Mitch you forgot you love snowmobiling too!:D

BonnieOutlaw 04-16-2004 11:12 AM

Actually Rog...that's exactly what I was getting at. :D LOL

I keep hearing about the snowmobile....what kind?

And really, you must have a pic of the new boat. I don't know any guy alive that wouldn't have taken pics of it before delivery - just to have something to show.

come on....PLEEZE!

dyno 04-16-2004 11:22 AM

Mitch,

Would it be safe to assume if the deal goes through that it will be at LOTO with you at the end of May? Hope so. Looking forward to seeing it and meeting you.

You don't know what you've been missing out on in life. It's my job to bring you up to date. :D

Nice boat! :D

Downtown42 04-18-2004 11:32 AM

is that you bonnie kick ass in avatar?

MitchStellin 04-20-2004 08:54 AM

Yes, this is the day....I will have many more pics this evening. Everything went great, got to run in 3-4s and it was like a dream, I could not believe how it ran in the rough. Towed it home last night and the X didn't even know it was there. It pulled the hills in cruise at 72 and never even labored. Ended up with 12 mpg towing 10,000lbs:D The controler boot got me made the difference, 50 more hp and 90lbs torque just yanked that thing down the road. I found a few times hitting 75+ without trying but that is a little fast. Now it is time to ride!!! Bring on the warm weather again please.:D

dyno 04-20-2004 09:02 AM

where you been all morning??you and the Foul hang one on when you got home.....pics we need pics!!!!:D

Downtown42 04-20-2004 09:02 AM

BonnieOutlaw 04-20-2004 09:09 AM

Glad it went well!! Come on Mitch...we want pics! I hope the weather's nice for you so you can post 'em.

Yup downtown....that's me.

dkwestern 04-20-2004 09:13 AM

Mitch I'm coming over tonight to check her out or maybe at lunch (assuming its in your yard) I can't wait to get out and run either. Its a little cold today but I get ants in my pants everyday I drive past the ramp (4times a day). Congrats. DK

MitchStellin 04-20-2004 09:20 AM

Man you guys are tough, it was a long drive so I didn't get a chance last night. I forgot to say what it was: 1994 32ft Active Thunder. Twin Hp500s, Marine Machine steering, K-Planes, bravo 1 drives, 25 Mirage props, Gaffrig gauges (right down to fuel press) trim on throttle, Merc/Gill exhaust, shotgun tips, Offshore mounts, no date seats:D New imrom paint from top tp waterline with cool graphics. Full cabin/head/sink. The engines started cold (50deg) without one hint of ticking which is great, especially when cold, The boat handled like a car on pavement and ate the waves with ease. I will have many pics, Mike, go ahead and post yours, I have to work late to pay for this thing:D DK, I will be home around 6:30 but it is in the drive so stop by and later we can pull the cover.

dyno 04-20-2004 09:29 AM

Me Too! Me Too! I'll be over after 6:30 to see this bad boy!!glad to hear it all went down OK....Darrin the family and I walked by your house Sunday during the red flag of the race, was going to stop for a beer break but it looked pretty quiet!! I think we need to put a cover on your basketball court so we can store buts on it!!you can shootbaskets at the park!!!:)

Congratulations. That is one sweet looking ride. You should really enjoy it.

Steve_H 04-20-2004 09:42 AM

congrats!
awesome boat

dkwestern 04-20-2004 09:54 AM

See you guys at 6:30 then.

Don, you should have knocked I was inside resting off a hangover from a combined friday and saturday binge up in Grand Haven. I spent all day Staurday cleaning the boat, so Sunday I was dead tired. I kept it on the court all winter long and just pulled it on the driveway last week so the water would drain out when I washed the inside out (slope of the driveway). That is why it is in the driveway backwards. Thought I would clarify because it looks a little ridiculous like that. Feel free to put up a roof over the court, the township wont let me or the neighbor who has a 272 formula put up buildings even with the big spare lots we have inbetween.

Milord 04-20-2004 09:55 AM

Congrats Mitch, I'm sure you'll love her!

MitchStellin 04-20-2004 10:07 AM

Thanks all, it has been a long journey to this boat, I picked it apart with a fine tooth comb and kept coming back. It has also been a long time without a go fast boat. My hair was standing on end just listening to the motors:D I didn't even drive it much, just crused around the boat while under way to check things out. You can fit two whole adults in the engine bay, with the back of the seat moving with the hatch you could pull a cam without removing anything. I was impressed by the way the boat is set up, very well.:D

jawbreakerkid 04-20-2004 10:14 AM

congratulations, mitch!!! i can't wait to see it in person. you are bringing it to LOTO this summer right?

chad

Bam Bam 04-20-2004 10:21 AM

Congratulations Mitch, welcome to the Active Thunder Family!!!!

Pictures, we need pictures!!!!

MitchStellin 04-20-2004 10:36 AM

Yes JBK, I will be at LOTO this mem day, I am staying with Waterfoul and Cord to name a few, I can't wait. I wish I could post pics but I am at work and can't do that from here. I have many and will get that done tonight.

dkwestern 04-20-2004 12:29 PM

Mitch I did the quick drive-by on the way home for lunch, that is a great looking boat, and I really like the colored trailer as well, it really sets it off as a total package. I couldn't figure out why there was a 3/4 ton chevy hooking up to it but I figured it was a friend of yours so I helped him cut the locks and hook it up to his truck. He said you wanted him to take it out and prop test. It looked good in the water too. :p :p :p :D :D :D :p
