Get in touch with Too Old. He had a 25' boat moved from So Cal to NC

NO! I found another boat and a guy from OSO checked it out for me. But I think the price of transport to my area is going to stop me from buying it. It's gonna cost me too much for transport. :(

I am guessing at least a buck per mile with gas prices?

CAP071 04-16-2004 05:49 PM

Is that each way ? :(

CAP071 04-16-2004 05:53 PM

Is that anywhere near you Reed? Long beach ?

You need to find someone deadheading from CA back east. I would say your best bey from anyone on this board (Or anywhere else) is Wayne at West Coast Trailers. He has helped a few board members out. You will need to schedual around his drivers, but the sometimes go to FL empty.

Good luck.

Call up Eliminator or Advantage or one of the Custom boat builders out there and see who they are using for transportation out east. I used a company out of phx , Az to bring my boat out from Ca. Aces and Eights Trucking, he is a marine hauler and if he is still running does a pretty good job and a fair price if he can bring you out with another boat or pick one up for the ride home. I dont have the contact info anymore for him.
