This one happened in Lake Winni.... last aug .. new boat 5 hrs ish on her owner had a 29 Fountain and traded up to this 38 and was doing power turns with it at 70+ and hooked a wave.. note.. the drives are all the way down think there were 4 people in the boat all tossed out and OK. the only person hurt was the drivers wife who was pregnant and fell down on shore after watching the boat roll. Was a 38 W/525s I think..Total Loss!!

I was on Hartwell Tuesday installing a lift, it WAS glass. We have had calm winds all week in N. GA., Lanier is smooth too.

Something smells here! You know how long it takes for tabs to go all the way down? Plenty long enough to pull back on the sticks! I think the guy must have been on crack! Yet another senseless 'go fast' boat accident.

OK, so I can laugh since the folks in her were OK. Something is rotten in Denmark tho, that just doesnt happen from a tab sticking...

Is this it b4?? At the show it had 1075's..

THIS IS CRASY!! On a lake 42 ft of boat weighing close to 9000 lbs. no lanyard.......Insurance companies should have stipulations as to coverage. No lanyard while moving your not covered. Something to keep this (policies) for getting out of control. Commonsense is everything out there. I treat mine with so much respect sometime I think I hear her talkin to me. These boats are so much fun but you need to know or what to do when the unexpected arises. Maybe they were trying to execute a very high speed turn by using the tab to help them through it,either way its never worth that chance unless someone is paying you to win a race. Cause you know that boat is self insured. Dont these boats have tab indicators? If you see somethings not right back off!!
