I'll take 2...his and hers. Is there anyway I can put both on one trailer? I can't afford another truck.

Ron P 04-20-2004 08:09 PM

Velocity Tom 04-20-2004 09:07 PM

jtmiller02 04-20-2004 09:23 PM

look at the top of the motor, says it all

Jassman 04-20-2004 09:32 PM

IMPRESSIVE:D great speed for a wide body cat, boat looks alot larger in the water than the 36, Terry, what is the weight difference between the two.

I wonder what it would do with some TMP 1500's:cool:

jeff bratton 04-20-2004 09:43 PM

eyezlee 04-20-2004 10:20 PM

Is that Catmando standing on the dock waiting for a ride? :D:D:D

CigBoat 04-21-2004 05:22 AM

Terry is the fuel capacity 100 or is that just what you had on board? Love the looks (I Like an all white boat)

WickedWon 04-21-2004 06:00 AM

Thats The Right Size For BIG Speeds

Nice piece, 1100hp on pump gas and pushing a wide beam 140+ when light.......If it stays settled at those speeds I say mission accomplished. None of them need to go faster than that (or that fast), at that level nobody ever "tests" you ;)

BTW whats the displacement on the engines and at what boost and rpm are they making the HP ?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm really impressed by your motor program.

WOW!!!!!:)

salesmanship 04-21-2004 08:12 AM

Hey thanks guys
Ok answers to questions.
Tom: River... What speed limits? We're going too fast to read those signs they have posted. I don't know what they say.
Jazz: 36 = 9600lbs, 43 = 12,000 lbs
Baja: Total capacity is 300 gals
Wicked: Very stable, 604 cid, about 8lbs of boost, 1100 HP @ 6100 RPM. We got about 5900 out of it. Calm and 85 degrees.
Yes that was Catmando he's in charge of P.R. for us now.

BLee 04-21-2004 08:20 AM

Wow Terry. Looks like that crappy design is as sweet as it looks!:D :D Will it be present at the Ft. Myers run?

Do you need me to drive the 4300 Vee in the run now that you have upgraded?? :D :D

salesmanship 04-21-2004 08:51 AM

Brandon,
Unfortunately the latest in "Crappy" technology has to head north today for T.A.O.D., they're holding the door open. It will not be on the run.
Get your dad to buy my boat, I'll get a 43 cat and dedicate a seat just for you.

BODYSHOT1 04-21-2004 11:46 AM

..only 142?!?!?.....;) ...Awesome boat!

:D

salesmanship 04-21-2004 04:36 PM

Oz you need to get er out of neutral.

Boomer 880 04-21-2004 06:41 PM

Terry:

I have always wondered how long you take on a new hull design to air it out for the first time. I assume you work your way up the lmph adder, but did you reach 142 after 10 minutes of seat time or hours/days?

It must be a rush to be the test pilot.

Great looking boat. Good luck.

salesmanship 04-22-2004 09:17 AM

Scott,
Probably a lot sooner than we should. However this is just a variation of our existing hulls. After having many many hours in the 50 and then 36 you can tell if it's doing what it is supposed to. You definately pucker up the first time and we take as much caution w/ it as we can but the ride was amazing and better yet, controlled and stable.

Beautiful!! I saw the V hull "Masquerade" a couple years ago up at the Thousand Islands Poker Run and was sold on Nor-Tech. I saw the SuperCat "Xtreme Xhibit" last year at the NYC Poker Run and literally stood there with absolutely NOTHING to say. These things are works of art even when they're sitting still.
