Midwest Poker Runs
 

Does anyone know of any poker runs or gatherings in the area in May or June? The Kentucky Lake Poker Run which is normally in June isn't going to happen this year.

Dean I was checking around about the same thing. I found this, smlba.com looks like it would be ok.

Looks interesting. I'm not sure I want to drive that far though. I was hoping to find something within 250 miles. Smith Mtn looks to be about 400 miles for me...

Lake Cumberland, Ohio River (Cincy), Ohio River (Lafeyette area I think), National Marine has one in the Cleveland area I think, Chicago... I'm sure there are a bunch more

Lake Cumberland is in September and I think Cincy is in July. I'm looking for something in May or June. Is Lafayette or Cleveland in May or June?

The Oshkosh Thunder poker run is on June the 11th. and 12th , lots of great looking fast boats there too:cool:

The GLSCS Cinci race is June 18-20

Oshkosh June 10-12 smoke on the water july 9-11 lake Michigan sturgan bay is the same time as smoke on the water All are lots of fun, but only run lake mich if your boat is 28 or larger. hope to see you there

How far is Oshkosh from Chicago?

70-80 mi from Milw to Oshkosh. Chi-town to Milw..100mi +/-....Figure 3+ hrs total drive time :drool:

oops...saw KY...3 hrs from mid-chic (o'hare airport)...add another 1 hr to go thru Chi town complete.

I know there are at least 3 poker runs this year lake of the ozarks and harbor hops. one is in may, 1 in june and i think one in augeust. i know last year they took off from backwater jacks with over hundred boats from 25 to 50' boats , it was a mass of big boats rolling to big dicks to start.

Hey guys! Sorry I just caught this but we are having a Poker Run at Kentucky Lake this year. It's dedicated to a friend of ours that was killed in a car accident a couple of months ago. I know its kind of late but here is the link if anyone is interested.
