Respect her. Your changing things already after you have commited to her. If you wanted to race, should have done it before you got engaged then she can't *****. Married at 21, she was 18....22yrs still strong. And remember, 1/2 that get married stay married. Good luck.

You have to focus on what's important. And it is not racing boats against your loved one's wishes. I see all the support racer's get from family and friends and it is a great thing, I also see a lot of divorces in the boating community because the hobby/sport becomes too much for the sig other to handle. Deal with it now, don't hold it against her and race another day, she may make a fine co-pilot

You did right, now lets get this video in your hands, it keeps being returned. I sent you two PMs to try and fix this. Show her this video and you can see how crazy some people can get.
Again, you did right, you had a choice and you made the right decission. Good man.

Sometimes I wonder why I continue to defend you.

A. My Dad got married on 2/14/76. That's 28 YEARS of marriage. When you are married 28 years to your wife, than you can talk about respect.
He also started to "ocean" race in 1976 with a 28 Cigarette. He raced from 1976-1982 in a boat no bigger than 30 feet. Those were the days where they raced 150-200 miles in the OCEAN without a GPS. Got balls ehh? Today a race is between 35-40 miles. We run 35 miles every Sunday in our boat!!!
B. My dad is not a used car salesman. I am the used car salesman.
