THANK YOU XS Performance !!!
I called XS Performance today to see if Brian Alfry (the owner) could look at my hydraulic steering sometime soon. I thought it seemed too stiff.
Brian said, "No problem bring it over today (Sunday) and I'll take a look at it. I took my boat over and Brian & Ron dropped the work they were doing and immediately checked out my hydraulic steering system. Bryan seemed to think it might have some air in the system and bleed the lines. As he was checking it out he noticed that the system pushed too far from left stop to right stop. This caused my gimble to pull on my transom quite a bit. Brian said this needed adjusted right now! This took allot of his time to make the needed adjustments. Brian explained that in time the gimble or transom would have been ripped off or badly cracked due to the force of the hydraulic system pushing it too far to the right & left. (I don't think I want to know what this could have cost me someday) When Brian & Ron finished I asked how much I owed them and Brian said.....NOTHING!!!
This may not seem incredible to you, but it did to me and I want to thank them on here for their hard work. BTW this wasn't even one of Brian’s top notch hydraulic steering systems, it was some one else’s!!! WOW!!! These guys are first class all the way and very reputable people to work with. If you're looking for a hydraulic steering system you owe it to yourself to check them out, top shelf people & products.
Thanks again Brian & Ron for your hard work, IOU one big time!!! http://www.xsperformancemarine.biz/

I talked to Brian today and he told me about your steering. It comes as no surprise he helped you out, that is one reason why (among other reasons) I decided to sell his products. Last year I was having issues with my original system (not an XS) and he drove accross town TO MY HOUSE and looked at it for me.
Great guy, makes killer stuff and always happy to help you out.

Ehhhh...forget the breakin, just bury the sticks....
I am sure we will run into eachother this season. Should be a fun year, the ole' mule has a new powerplant and that usually makes the first few runs of the year a bit more enjoyable
Catch ya in a few, enjoy the new ride. If I can help you out anyway, just let me know.
