Dan Francis in the news in St. Louis
This article was in the paper this morning. Kinda funny. Dan Francis was the owner/driver of Zipp Express.

I met Dan last summer in St Louis when he was running in the Champ Boat Series.
He got a LOT of attention then too.... He was finishing his qualifying lap, just crossing the start/finish line when the timer camera caught him as he passed by. Unfortunately, he was on his way 'over'. From shore, it looked like his back end crossed the finish line before his front end did! His qualifying time was excellent, but the boat was too badly broken to continue. Dan was ok though. (love those capsules). |
