It's Sunday, do you know where Too Old's Sutphen is?
Inquiring minds want to know - did the Sutphen get wet as scheduled, or was there some convenient "issue"?
|
I didn't realize he was that far along.. what did he use for motors?.
|
His wife's vacuum and blender are probably missing their motors. :D

the way that gas is going I'm thinking weedwackers or 12 volt trolling motors!!Fess up Fred did it get wet???
|
dyno.. quit being a baby :p :p
run the 110 its a better deal at $3 a gal :D :D |
Now now boys, I do believe that Fred "Never Wet" Cecil, aka Too Old, posted in this thread on 4/21 that the Sutphen "be off loaded at secret testing facility here in South Carolina this weekend."
Sure sounds like we should be treated to some pics of that beast in the water, and I don't mean sitting behind the shop in a rain shower. ;) |
I think when fred is good and ready to reveil his gorgeous machine he will post some pics for us.
About every boat too old has owned I have had the pic as wallpaper on my puter.. looks like its about ime for the mistress to come off and the sutphen to go up :) |
Did Fred get wet or his boat ? :p
|
between the cob webs and dust bunnies?
|
next to AudioFn
|
Man, OSO is a tough crowd - good thing T.O. is a good sport about us ribbing him all the time...
(Has it occurred to anyone else that this whole "Trick Marine" business might be a ploy to provide an excuse when Audiofn's brand new 1980 Formula hits the water before the Sutphen? Or am I thinking too much? :D ) |
yep
|
Hey TOO YOUNG CALLING TOO YOUNG.....
oh he must still be out boating Sunday at 10pm |
ice still on his home waters is what he said
|
him and shackleton...ice problems
|
So what you are saying is you lied to all your guys that are betting for ya..... Isn't that like being Pete Rose :D:D
So did it go in or not. I have been saying from the begining that I still do not think that you even have your drives on, CERTAINLY not the motors. DUDE if all I had to do was hang two drives and put two motors together I would have been in the water a LONG time ago. Let us not forget that I am BUILDING an entire boat     Oh ya that is right I decided to do the deck this year as well...... So you just got ourself some more time as I am going to remove the rub rail, bow lights, and on and on and on..... Jon |
I have a strong feeling that Too Old came through and is going to send us photos. (Now Fred that means REAL , non-chopped photos).:D :D
Boat in water under way under it's own power by real boat motors and real boat drives. Driven of course by the real "TOO OLD". I have faith.......  |

|

|
I don't know how to react if it DID GET WET. I have been around this site for so long that I can remember when Fred actually boated on a REGULAR basis in his Pantera! But, that was a LONG, LONG, TIME AGO! :D Of course, truth be told, he DID DRIVE his Skater ONCE! Now, he hasn't seen water since. I wonder if he didn't scare the beejeezus out of himself in the Skater and has been afraid to get back in the water ever since...:eureka:
You know I'm just teasing you Fred. But, I am a realist and KNOW you WON'T SPLASH the Sutphen....haha! :p |
