It's tough to get,, I actually tracked down a distributer last year, but had to buy a case. Didn't want to drop 150.00 bucks unless a few of my dockmates wanted some also, turns out I would have been stuck with about 8 bottles. I decided to use Star-brite instant hull cleaner,, you can spray it on, rinse it off, works great and is infinitely less toxic than on-off... used to be available at walmart for 8 or so bucks, but am having a hard time finding it this year..

If you want to find it on your own it's available for about 12 bucks a bottle and possibly available through janitorial supply stores.

It's available if you too have a business, business license and can establish your own distributorship. If you're lucky you can find someone who will sell a case to you for at least $150 plus shipping...

I have sold it for years to OSO members who have all been extremely happy with their results. If you think there are better cleaners like some of those mentioned please feel free to give them a try. Based on my experience the Ringo is the best stuff I have EVER come across since it's BY FAR the easiest and cleanest to apply (it can even be used in the bilge) while others cannot since they can damage the metal and wires if sprayed.

Email me or PM if you want some. Do a search to see all the other info that has been posted by all the members that have used it and to see what the costs are.

can it be used on painted surfaces?

Viper340 , can you refresh my memory?

It can but paint should not stain like fiberglass since it's not nearly as porous. To test it don't leave it on for more than a couple of minutes and rinse thuroughly to see if there is any affect.

Vyper340 so the active ingredient is the acid or something else?

Re: Ringo is some BAD AZZ Chit!!!

I'm not sure what the active ingredient is but I do think it has a mild detergent and acid in the gel form that it has. I can tell you that it was orinigally formulated to use on pool scum lines on tile and fiberglass and it does not throw the pool chemical balance off so it can't be too acidic. I've used it without gloves and have had no problems or issues... Sorry I can't be of more help.
