83 on GPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I changed an oil sending unit so I had to test it you know:D Had my full snowmobile suit on, Helmet, Jacket, Gloves and Bibs. With the Helmet on I was able to withstand the cold and could see the GPS. I was at 83 and wide open, 5200 rpms and trim at 3, I bet I could have seen 85 or so but backed down. All temps and pressure's were right on and it was a blast, went out to lake MI and there were 2-3s and a 4 every so often, got up on plane and cruised over them at 50, man my old Donzi would have broken in half. This AT rocks. My 1:36s and 25s are right on, sorry Dyno but your labbed 23s are still in the box, I may see 5400 with them and that is too much. I may still try but keep it under 5200. I was by myself since this was a last second deal, I had Rick Denbore help me launch and DK Western was there to retrieve, I wanted to do it by myself because that is how I like it but welcomed the help with the short docks and wind. I have to put it in a slip for a few days, major surgery on the trailer. I am cutting off the back and moving the boat forward, the engines are not over the axles and they have to be. I will take pics as we do it. The X can handle the tongue weight because I have air bags:D Man I love being a boat owner again, I spend hours in the Garage (yes it fit to within 7 feet) Now we need warm air please, 54 at 83 = 0:D

And more stable:D I had more trim left but that was fast enough, had the tether on for sure:D I was inland so the water was 1-2s, just enough for a lift.;)

Sorry Mike, I was by myself and it was a last second thing, next time for sure.

No biggie. I did yard work tonight. I think I'm done with all the spring stuff finally.

When it gets warmer, I wouldn't be surprised if you will not be able to get it over 80. Cold air does wonders for fast boats.

But I bet it was cool as can be to see that GPS hit the 83 mark!

Congrats!!

I would assume I will lose speed, thats when the 23s come out:D I figured high 70s so this was a surprise, it was still climbing, next time lake mi is smooth I am there. That is still plenty fast enough, I figure 66 for a good cruise speed.
