Cabin cushions before and after.
1 Attachment(s)
I had posted in the Tech Section a few weeks ago that I was thinking about doing my cabin cushions in tweed. Well I decided to go ahead with the project.
The pic below is what I had originally. Didn't care for this much. Looked like a pack of Life Savers puked on them. :p Buck |

After a little bit of ribbing for my choice of material here is the final outcome.

This turned out much better than I expected. Total cost was around $150 for all the cushions. Money well spent IMO for what I got in return.

Looks good dude.
Dontcha think that the tweed will show those cabin stabbin stains? |

i was thinking the same thing about the stains. get a big piece of plastic to cover it and a gallon of or two of oil.:D
very nice improvement |
LOL...you guys are killin me.
MnFastBoat....Didn't do it myself. Customer of mine does custom interior work on A LOT of local show cars. Very well known in the area. I have taken VERY good care of him at my shop over the years. He was returning the favor. ;) Next is Ultra Leather for the rear seat and engine cover. :D FeverMike....LOL. I didn't even notice that under the Cowboy Hat. That's actually the tie down spot for my porta potti. The hat just happened to be sitting there. It does look like a holder though. Buck |
