Yamaha FX Cruiser
Can anyone recommend a good dealer (preferably on the east coast) to get a deal on a Yamaha FX Cruiser?
|
NOT Coleman Powersports of Northern Virginia. (Sorry Greg/LoR) Their sales tactics are terrible.

Toms River Yamaha in Toms River, NJ. Ask for Jim the sales person. Although I am not to sure on how many we have left for the year. It is worth the call. I do Assembly & Prep/Road Calls/Mechanical on the water craft. 732-929-8168 10am-6pm

It's ok Brian I don't work for them, I work for Cycle sport in Alex. And we don't do watercraft.

C'mon Inpropsicated, do you really wanna be a rice burner? Can't we be a little more patriotic. I'm not asking ya to repaint that Boss 302 red, white and blue. I'm just sayin', do yourself a favor and get you an American legend, the Harley-Davidson of motorcycles....it is the Harley-Davidson> You won't regret it.

RJ1340,
My boat is already red, white, and blue. Harley doesn't make a PWC do they? |
No, but you can buy a Polaris.
|
If I was going to buy a PWC I would get the Honda, and I can get the Yamaha at cost. I know a bunch of people in the biz. and they all say the same thing, it may not be the fastest but it hardly evey breaks.

Lapse,
Honda makes a gem as usual, but there's nothing wrong with Yamaha watercraft. Till Honda came along, they were undisputedly the king of reliability. I honestly still prefer the 2 strokers, even though the 4 strokers have an edge in fuel economy. The 03 GPR1300's had some real issues, though. |
And RJ,
Japanese watercraft haven't really got a lot to do with Harleys. And while Harley has been making really good bikes for the past ten years or so, they still only cover TWO portions of the many different styles of motorcycles. Cruiser and Tourer. They make arguably the best Cruiser bikes going. Their Touring bike is "okay". They make NOTHING to compete in the sporting segment, although Buell makes some good handling Harleys that shake too much and have no top end. I'm all for buying American. But I think it is more than a matter of buying a Harley and thinking you got it covered. I watched a leather-clad couple with stars and stripes doo-rags climb off a Dyna Glide and walk thru the local appliance/tv store and choose an LG brand refrigerator to replace their aging Frigidaire. THAT's where I see the main problems. (LG is Korean, and has launched the first major Asian assault on the Domestic large appliance market in the US - they have also recently PURCHASED part of the GE Appliance Division). |
