just make sure you use Premium or High Performance vinyl. There is not reall a marine grade vinyl that I know of. I've been doing vinyl on race boats for 10 years and the only problems I've had are with FDC brand vinyl. I now use 851 series ORACAL which is made in Germany and have no complaints.
