Just checked their website and the 24 is a 8' beam boat. I heard they were tough well made boats that were very fast.

has any body figured out where the original 24 came from for design and co.

I don't know the history of the other boats, but the Banana Boat which began produciton in 1976 was the predecessor to the Cigarette Fire Fox.

Don Arronow who built the mold for the Banana really liked it so a few years later, he started making them as well, but with a slightly different deck which he called the fire fox.

I have a similar boat build in 1969, always thought it was a prototype of Cigarette boat, but instead it is the prototype of Magnum later build by P&D boats.
