Hey GLH, nice pic.

The only way I'm ever gonna get a shot like that is to be chased by the cops.

Looks like my only problem is that I joined at a really bad time. GLH I don't give Customs the info you are looking for when I go to Europe. If you want send me your address and I can send you my boxer shorts for examination.

I have nothing to prove; not much to discuss;not interested in being a "brother" just joined because I when I get back into boating I will have JO build me a 28'er. Even I had a million bucks to blow on a boat I like his the best. Unbelievable trouble free FUN FUN FUN.
Ask JO; we "talked" A 28'er with T-496 HO's. An 85mph blast!

No Sandisk, you joined at a perfectly good time.

Don't worry.

I think GLH was just curious to see your boat. I don't have a big money boat. Who cares. Here:

Well, that's not my actual boat, it just looks like it.

Just kidding, here's my actual low dollar ride:

My last boat was a 390 Ray kept at JBM. My interest in boating comes and goes. I think it is something my job interferes with too much and summer is too short. The ideal thing is to move to Florida or something. I will when I retire. A Ray is a decent boat for the money and I bought a couple and got in and out without getting burned. Good resale. Great party boat. Makes a nice big wake for GLH. What can I say?

6o mph is fast to me.
Even after 20 years on the water.
But I like the boat and it's a good rough water boat.
I'll let you guys go on ahead and then I'll come raft off of you!

I have a feeling as I get older I'll settle into a cruiserish boat. I have a friend with a Formula SS that is pretty damn fast for such a comfy boat.

It has a stepped hull. But it doesn't do the speeds that are associated with too much loss of surface tension, so it's a moot point for him as far as safety goes.

Another friend has a sea ray 310. Also a nice boat.

A 390 is a lot of boat. Floating condo.

YEA 60 mph is fast for me too. Our 24' Pantera with a 330 Hp setup was mid 60's but we chased cruiser wakes and jumped it and turned at full speed. The boat can take a licking and keep ticking.
