Hi Dave,

I'm a week or ten days from splashing the Chris.
I have a dock at LP for the Stinger and a dock at ORYC for the Wellcraft. Either way, I'll be in that end of the point alot.

Wouldn't mind taking both 260s out for a blast from the past run. I will probably be doing alot of the weeknight Clamdiggers runs and stuff.

You can measure whatever you want. I'll be around alot. I'll e mail you when I'm in, and you can check the boat out whenever.
I kind of hate to because it's pretty sweet, but I'm gonna let the Nova go if you know anybody.
It doesn't need jack. Wait, it needs the trim sender installed (I have the new one). That's saying alot for a 25 year old boat. If I had a building I'd keep it.
I'd be surprised if you haven't seen it. I ran it alot the last two years in that Maumee River/Maumee Bay stretch.

Hey, for the record, it sounded like him to me. It was still nice to draw him into a conversation about boats and maybe start over with a better attitude.

Anyone who saw the ground zero knows my position on the knob's tirade. But I'm a boater first and a knob patroler second.

A couple things tipped me off.

Whatever.

Hey Bonnie Outlaw....

You didn't get hazed because you don't write checks with your BS that the real you can't keep I'd guess.

I've read your posts... you just aren't a knob.

I never got hazed. I just started posting when it felt right and not faking anything. I don't join BBs, but as we both mentioned in a different thread, some things about this group impressed me, especially the helpful spirit of the group. So I joined anyway.

I've taken some good natured ribbing... but I'd like to think that I, like you, haven't been knob enough to deserve the spanking.

The funny thing is, if the knob had a boat and needed something, I think that the membership of this group would come to his aid. Still. As long as he asked without being pompous.

Attitude is everything. Your's is good.
I try to keep mine that way too.

Hmmmm, never hazed here.

I've met alot of damn good people on this board. The kind of people that will drive to your house to work on your boat for FREE even though they don't know you;)

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE I have met here and spoke with over the phone has delt with me as though I was their neighbor:D

Ok Dave,

I haven't spent a summer at Lp yet, so I don't know were I am in relation to the cat. I'm in 332 at LP.

And I'm the second dock from the hoist on G dock at ORYC. Come on down for the regatta.

I joined Bay View this year, so maybe by next year I'll have a dock at BVYC.

Take it easy, we'll see ya out there.

old river? im at channel park and my friend gun is at g 17 at old river

fund razor 05-02-2004 09:18 PM

Ottawa River Yacht Club. Toledo/Point Place.
That would have been a coincidence.

I'm in G18 at oryc. (the one near me)
But I'll be dropping that dock when I sell the 21.

G17 at my oryc is a pretty sweet 1974 24 foot donzi with twin smallblocks.

glassdave 05-02-2004 09:30 PM

cool . . i should be at bay view in a year or two. sent my member ship an all i hafta do is wait for a 26' spot to open up . . know what i mean :D

fund razor 05-02-2004 09:36 PM

Are you already a member? I just joined this year.
I have some friends there, and everybody tells me that having the narrow beam should make a dock easier to get over there. They have so many fatties. Everybody there needs a 14 wide slip. Skinny comes easier.

If you joined before me you will get my dock. You bastard.
