I got the boat back last saturday....everything looks tip top......I have to keep the cover off of it for two weeks to let the clear cure I guess.....I am going to try and buff out a few swirl marks in it this weekend...but other than that.....it looks good......hopefully it will stay that way.....thanx again Neil......Rich

You have to let the clear cure for 2 weeks ?? Mine is at Cig now getting some scratches fixed and also re clearcoating some areas that needed attention. Does this prohibit you from using the boat as my work is being done at the waterline near the transom ??

Yep...New River.....Neil said that it was moisture interacting with the clear coat....any number of ways.....but he thought that after this fix, I shouldnt have any more problems....I hope he is right.....I dont think the two weeks is a hard and fast figure....I think that just to be safe...they dont want anything laying on top of it that might trap moisture.....I had the boat on the water the day after they fixed it.....so I dont think you have anything to worry about......
