don carter from offshore performance specialities in sarasota has used huber 1200,s for around $1000.00. i know where they come from in fact a good freind of mine rebuilds them for the navy and most of them have less than 200 hours when don gets them. give them a call it will be your cheapest way out.

DEVIL MAN 05-11-2004 04:26 PM

Thanks for the input guys....the total rebuild is going to run around $2600!!!!! That was done at Bam. I have run Hubers for years and had great success so I am biting the bullet this time (no Choice). Hope everyone is doing well except for the Phantom!!!!!

Take care,

DMan

We put the BAM super cyborg 1500 trannys in ours when we put the 6's on last summer and so far they've been great...see ya on the water D-MAN.

Since I've gone to BAM's 1500 drysumps they've been living. The " dry sump" also makes the level less critical and easier to check. I think the conversion is about $700.00 a crack:rolleyes: but they've got 30 hard hours on them and they still smell good. The six blades with the 20 deg. rake really load those suckers up on re-entry but so far so good.
