Maybe they hoped that response would circulate and keeo people from attending the meeting.
Then they will be very much surprised.

P.S. I had Lou Ann Palmer as a teacher in high school and I know her to be a person of strong integrity. How she ever got into politics is beyond me, but I do know her to be truthful.

You may know her, but how many of the other commission members that you emailed have responded back in the same manner? One commissioner only has one vote. She may be telling the truth that she has know idea what your talking about, but someone else may have a different idea.

This was posted today on the forum where I originally found this info on the boat ramp:

To all: The City of Sarasota's draft Cultural District Master Plan does NOT propose closing the 10th Street boat ramps! From the beginning we made the consultant who wrote that plan aware of the importance of the boating access, which is already too scarce in Sarasota County. All Sarasotans are encouraged to tune into that plan, on which a number of public meetings have already been held. But the boaters don't need to worry about those ramps going away, that is not being proposed.
Mike McNees, Sarasota City Manager
