Not a new story but has been coming for some time.Painful for the young ones just experiencing the decisions of our congress now. Lost my job as a second generation steel worker in mid 80's after 31 years.Lost pension,hospitalization,$100,000 life insurance.Congress would not protect steel industry from illegal dumping and now the industry is overseas.I survived but it was rough at age 50 to start over.You are young....Do it

Mike,

My guess is the big notice is so that some will go out and find jobs on there own. Jci will not replace them.

Then when the layoffs do happen, it will look like they didnt lay that many off.
