JT... like you ... I was a real skeptic about Chiropractors... I had nagging chronic pain in my upper back... right between my shoulder blades... no matter what I did... it was always there... I went to a chiropractor for the first time when I was about 42.... I only went twice a month for two months... talk about an improvement... Now I visit my chiropractor about once every two or three years.... All I have to do now is stretch and I can feel all my vertebrae pop between my shoulder blades.. no more stiffness.. no more pain... I asked my Chiropractor what was done... he told me that after years of vertebrae being in the same position for years they begin to fuse with collagen... and an "adjustment" breaks and tears this collagen and loosens the joints. I've had physical therapists say if you do too many adjustments that your back will become so loose.. you will have a hard time supporting your upper body... But those few adjustments I had done worked wonders for me...

Nope, no bolt ons. Not for me. I have nothing against anyone that does it, it's a personal choice. I look at it like I've got what God intended me to have. If someone chooses not to be with me because of that, then I really didn't lose out at all. My aunt had them, had the leakage problem, and when she died, they were no longer "soft". They had hardened like rocks. She was miserable and had been trying to get them removed. Oddly enough, the doctor that did the augmentation had had a "fire" and didn't have her records any longer so she was not able to be a part of the initial lawsuit. Since her death, my mother has found copies of her records and there is now a suit on her behalf with her niece and nephew as beneficiaries. So I'll stick with my average ones and keep on keeping on!
