$250,000 for a 24' boat!

Holy deep pockets, Batman!

Money to burn!

klmken 05-05-2004 10:18 PM

I think I see 4 turbos in that engine compartment!!!!

ChrisK 05-05-2004 10:36 PM

I dont think it is the same boat in all the pics... one looks like it is a solid deck. and the others have the open bow..

Reed Jensen 05-05-2004 11:51 PM

Thurston Howell the III'rd just ordered one... There's room for the Professor and Maryann in the front..... I wonder what the motors are... It looked like it had Arneson surface drives.... :eureka:

Jesus! All that hardware - arnesons, two ??engines, 4 turbos, only 24 feet, and it does 60+ knots?? I hope they mean at least 60 + 20 knots!!.....

Wild idea, but they really blew it on the dash.....

dockrocker 05-06-2004 07:47 AM

Pretty crazy - I mean, I could see the price if the boat said "Apache" on the side.... ;)

anybody have a clue what kind of engines those are

overall the boat has a distinct lack of imagination. its constructed entirely of flat stock. now THIS is a wood boat with style

CigDaze 05-06-2004 08:05 AM

Not to mention it's 10 years old...I don't think so.

The Menace 05-06-2004 08:34 AM

Wow! A pocket Rocket!

With those engines and Arneson style drives that thing gotta be moving even when it is sitting still!.

Almost like having a motor strapped on your back (a**) and using your wompoon as a rudder.

Looks like European style engines. Could be modified Lamborghinis.

Stormrider 05-06-2004 08:43 AM

For a new wood runabout that can handle offshore... this is an nice way to go Riva

WARPARTY36 05-06-2004 09:44 AM

Click on the full specs icon. How can a ten year old boat be fly by wire? Did they have that ten years ago? Why put Arneson's on V-6's?

Shane 05-06-2004 09:51 AM

I know a guy here on Lake George that has a boat built by that company. GORGEOUS! Called a Van Dam

Shane- thanks for putting up the link.(forgot about that) i have met Steve VanDam several times. Nice guy and an incredible craftsman. I was going to have him do the body on a 48 Buick Estate wagon i restored. He features several of his boats at a concours show we do up in Charlvoix Mi. the boat i posted above is the AlphaZ and is the most perfect piece i have ever seen. Absolutly flawless. runs out a tick over a hundred too.

HangTime- scroll down to the bottom of this page for a link to the photo galleries. link the interior in this thing is cool.
