What kind of ridiculous statements are these? Give me a break.... "if we work together to solve them everyone will WIN"... "How can you compare Sunsation with Fountain?"... "it sounds like it might be an internal problem with the dealer"... "let's take a closer look at what we can do to make boating fun"! None of these statements are relevant to Fountain's poor service. You must be on Fountain's PR team? This is not the first dealer that I know personally that has dropped Fountain because of their lack of attention to the dealer once Fountain has :blaster: :blaster: signed them up.

Well I have been quiet! but when bigair thinks its OK to judge a dealer he knows nothing about (or maybe he does) I have to tell the other side.
I signed up a year ago and i sell Donzi, Sunsation and have sold Velocity. I am on a small fresh water lake in the mountains and sold over a million in boats the first 10 months. Just like JC I the dealer don't get any customer support. I gave them a second chance in Feb. to fix all the warranty issues. The boat has been there sitting in the field with all the other boats waiting to be fixed and is still there! I sell over 100 boats a year and I refuse to sell anything that does not have respectable customer support. I don't care how fast it goes! i will only sell quality top of the line boats. so if you would like all the details call me!

ps. Sunsation has it all over Fountain! And thats fact!

PS: That was 1,000,000.00 of just Fountain product! And I received 2003 Dealer awards!

What a shame. I still like Fountains, but I have to say,I probably wouldn't by another
just based on what I've read. Doesn't Fountain know how much bad press is coming
from this board? Almost everyone into performence boats visits this site. Reggie,
beware, word spreads fast!

He could care less. He's set for life anyway, and will cash out what little remains to Mercury and leave them holding a bag with holes. "Passion", "lives and breathes" BS....Reggie's about business and always has been. He's had his fun, and in terms of personal dollars, the boondoggles and misdirected "passions" have cost HIM nothing to toy with. (can you say supercruiser? or whatever the hell that multijillion dollar poor judgement was?)The direction his boat company has been headed in for a number of years now denotes air of "riding it out and into the ground until it's gone". He and his personal fortune are well protected, and will be lacking for nothing. You, on the other hand, owning one of his late-model boats might be!

P.S.
Sunsation builds a fine boat

Seems to me we are not comparing the boats but the service after the sale. VERY easy to compare IMO. One could use any boat builder for comparison to make this point if they choose. It's simple, Fountain isn't taking care of people and Sunsation is. Has nothing at all to due w/ the boats themselves.
