Yep, but it takes a lot of patience. I tried several ways.
You can start by wet sanding with about 1200 grit. Then go to 1600. Then polish out with a good metal polishing compound. I like good ole "SemiChrome" found at all the bike shops. S100 "Total Finish Restorer" also works well and again found at bike shops. There are others that work very well. When I've got a week with nothing to do (like that's gonna happen in this lifetime) I want to go over all of my windshielf frame and rails.
