I have heard of Battery Charger fires. There was one mentioned that burned up a custom 47 Apache years ago. (chk Apache thread)
A friend of my fathers had a fire on his diesel sport fish about 15 years ago due to a shorted charger. Boat would have been gone except Halon system doused it.
