what a nice idea for a gift please be sure to take pictures of him and the boat when you are finished, how long do you think it will take.
Reminds me of that Alan Jackson song......... nice memories you all have of your early boating days

Glass you sure that is not a picture of the Beetles in their early days

If the two best days of your life are , the day you buy it and then the day you sell it.. what does the day 'it comes back to you' become ? ?

Great sentimental exercise though !

my mom never liked me watching the Three Stooges but she always gave me a "Moe" haircut.

I think she thought I would use pliers and screwdrivers if I ever got into fights

I congratulate Joker on both his acquisition and his intentions. There are many classic boats that bring back not only memories but a sense of what it was like back in the day when people went boating in hulls that didn't block out the sun, drawn out thunder, cost the National debt, and have no sensation of light and subtle wind and wave conditions.

Good job Brian......... Maybe you and your dad might enjoy the Clayton NY Antique Race Boat Regatta in August?
