Wow...so many motorcycle wrecks. :(

Just found this in my mailbox. My prayers to all involved.


Tim Calhoun, Director of Rescue and Safety for Powerboat Superleague, ( www.aprsuperleague.com ) was critically injured Monday evening, May 10. The motorcycle accident sent Tim to St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia where he remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Tim sustained multiple injuries – including a crushed leg and the pelvis bone, which was broken in several places. After accessing the extensive damage to Calhoun’s leg, doctors were forced to make the devastating decision to amputate the leg.

Cards and well wishes can be sent to St. Mary’s Hospital, 2900 1st Avenue, Huntington, WV 25702. Until Tim is released from ICU, gifts (flowers, food) and cards cannot be sent directly to his room, however, the hospital staff will make sure that Tim knows your thoughts.
