Tonight is another big night on Talkoffshore.com and Offshore Only. We have Kevin Roberts, new owner of Hawk Marine Power and his view of how and why he wants to resurect it's famous name in the offshore world after he aquired it from a controversial owner. We are going to follow his business plan throughout the year to see how he is doing. A reality show kind of look inside the rebuilding of a business if you will. We know a lot of you have plenty of questions for him and encourage you to call in and talk to Kevin and Martin.

The second segment is even bigger and deals with building a new business. Sean Stinson and world famous throttleman and boat builder Bob Saccenti of Apache fame talks to us about their new venture. little feedback: need to turn up the phone volume. i think i talked right over Bobby's answer. :o

Yep, were working on it........it's all new to us and using the equipment is really a learning experience.....tonight was the first night that we had four persons on air at the same time so the equipment has never been tested in a broadcast situation. We'll make adjustment this week and review our shortcomings.

We really want to thank everyone for their support and patience.

Hope to see everyone next Tuesday same time same place for another edition with Powerboat Magazine's Brett Becker and our own Steve Schuble from right here on OSO...............this will be one nobody wants to miss!

Great show! Kinda need to find a solution for all the talking over that happens.

Make sure everyone has Full Duplex phones, and I do not recommend speaker phones in this case at all. Full Duplex, instead of Half Duplex, means you can talk and listen at the same time. Someone with a Half-Duplex phone was probably causing all of your talking over.

I believe you are correct and possibly we have a config problem on our end that would make it even more sensitive........we are doing testing this morning to try to isolate the issue.

Without listeners talk shows don't amount to much, so keep the suggestions coming and we'll keep working on our end to bring you a better product each week with interesting talk.
