playboy's 500s getting rebuilt
 

motors are at gellner engineering for a total rebuild and blueprinting... and a little more hp of course

porting exhaust man
blueprint balance all rotating parts
bump compression a little w/ new pistons
msd ignition
ecu work

will be dynoed prior to splashing (june 8ish)
will post pics of the shop and progress next week

Gee...that was quick....how many hours did you have on them bad boys??? Seems like just yesterday that you took delivery of that boat???:eek:

got it from parnell w/ 270 hrs then put on 75hrs on them
it had lost some compresion and speed

whats normal hrs.on hp 500s?

thought about the cam but not going to radical but if dean has his way ill be adding brodix heads and a cam

i think 530hp but the dyno will tell

keeping it simple for resale i think does that make anysense?
